Dyslexia Screening
This screening service is designed to assess indicators of dyslexia, highlighting both strengths and areas of difficulty. After completing the screening task, Liz provides a detailed report that addresses the individual’s needs and offers practical suggestions on how their strengths can support the development of other areas. This report is suitable for both home and school use, offering actionable tips to support learning. Please note that this is not a full diagnostic assessment.

Numeracy Screening
This numeracy screening service helps identify potential signs of dyscalculia, focusing on both areas of strength and those where additional support might be needed. After completing the screening activities, you will receive a comprehensive report outlining the individual’s specific needs and offering practical strategies to build on their strengths and address challenges. This report is designed to be useful in both home and school settings, providing clear, actionable guidance to support numeracy development. Please be aware that this is not a full diagnostic evaluation.

General Tutoring: Supporting Learners, Especially Neurodivergent Students
In-person tutoring is tailored to meet the needs of each learner, with a focus on students who think and learn differently. Most sessions are in small groups, offering personalised support while encouraging independence and problem-solving. Each learner’s plan is customised to address their unique challenges and learning gaps, helping them progress at their own pace.
Recognising that every student has strengths and areas for improvement, Liz's approach focuses on building core skills, fostering understanding, and boosting confidence. By creating a positive and supportive environment, she aims to enhance both academic growth and overall wellbeing, empowering students to reach their full potential.
Liz understands that each student has their own specific areas of difficulty and strength, and she works closely with them to bridge any gaps in learning. Her approach focuses on developing core skills and fostering an understanding of the material, while also boosting confidence and wellbeing. By nurturing a positive and supportive environment, she aims to enhance both academic performance and overall development, ensuring every student feels empowered to reach their potential.

11+ Tutoring: Preparing for Grammar School Entrance Exams
Liz's 11+ tutoring services are specifically designed to prepare students for entrance exams to local grammar schools. After speaking with parents/ carers she conducts informal suitability assessments to ensure the 11+ is the right path for each child, being honest with parents about whether it is likely to be within their child’s reach. It’s not about passing or failing, but about finding the most suitable school for each individual.
The sessions aim to address any learning gaps, build knowledge, develop test-taking strategies, and boost confidence. Liz recognises the importance of wellbeing throughout this process, helping students manage stress and build self-belief. Her approach combines academic support with a confidence-boosting environment, ensuring students are prepared for the 11+ tests.
