What is The Champions for Difference programme?
It is a six-module accredited training designed to develop authentic, informed, and empowered Neurodiversity Champions who can drive meaningful cultural change in their organisations and communities.

Delivered over six 2.5-hour in-person or remote sessions, this programme blends lived experience, research, and practical strategy to move beyond awareness toward real impact. Some organisations fund staff or volunteers to attend, while others join as self-funders passionate about inclusion and change.

As part of the training, you’ll gain guidance on using expert-recommended tools, to ensure you're covering basic literacy and numeracy development, including:

• Touch-type Read and Spell (TTRS): A multi-sensory resource to support literacy and typing skills, especially effective for neurodiverse learners.

• IDL (International Dyslexia Learning Solutions): A platform designed to strengthen literacy, numeracy, and wellbeing.
  We’ll show you how to make the most of these resources to meet your child’s unique needs.
   

Developing Social Skills Through Activities

We'll discuss socialisation and share your experiences. You’ll learn how to create meaningful opportunities for your child to practise social skills through group projects, local clubs, playdates, and community activities. We provide practical strategies to build connections and nurture relationships.

We can deliver these workshops in schools, colleges or community centres. Timings can be adapted to meet the speficic needs of the group from a single 2 hour session to a block of sessions or half/ full days.
